On November 15, 2005, Carteret.com — "the east coast of the Internet" — officially went up for sale. As of Nov. 18, the sale of the domain name is pending. Therefore, we are no longer accepting offers.
We thank everyone who has made Carteret.com the experience it has been since it first went online in 1996, and we hope to see you around the net in the future. When we started, we were the only site on the Net focusing entirely on Carteret County life. Today, a host of other Web sites have joined to spread the word. But until this week, nobody else had ever had the cool name of Carteret.com.
